Muzeum Lubuskie im. Jana Dekerta w Gorzowie

     Muzeum Lubuskie im. Jana Dekerta w Gorzowie Wielkopolskim, najstarsza tego typu instytucja w województwie lubuskim, zostało otwarte 8 września 1945 roku, jako pierwsza placówka muzealna na Ziemiach Odzyskanych po II wojnie światowej. Inicjatorem jego powstania był starosta Florian Kroenke, który dążył do ochrony zabytków przed zniszczeniem i grabieżą.

     Przed wojną w Landsbergu działało muzeum, jednak jego zbiory uległy rozproszeniu lub zniszczeniu. Początkowo nosiło nazwę Muzeum Ziemi Lubuskiej, lecz po utworzeniu województwa lubuskiego w 1950 roku centrum przeniesiono do Zielonej Góry. W 1975 roku, wraz z powstaniem województwa gorzowskiego, muzeum uzyskało status Muzeum Okręgowego, a jego dyrektor Zdzisław Linkowski zainicjował tworzenie nowych działów, m.in. Archeologii i Sztuki Współczesnej.

     W 2000 roku, z okazji 55-lecia, zmieniono nazwę na Muzeum Lubuskie im. Jana Dekerta. Muzeum obejmuje m.in. Zespół Willowo-Ogrodowy, Spichlerz oraz Zagrodę Młyńską w Bogdańcu.
